Tall Phlox ‘Laura’
Laura is an excellent tall phlox variety with large clusters of purple blooms, usually with a white eye in the center, appearing over long period from late spring into summer.
Flowers are born on sturdy stems 3-4 feet tall and over time the plant grows into a large clump 2-3 feet wide.
Its narrow leaves have good resistance to powdery mildew, but it is still a good idea to place it with room around it for good air circulation.
They grow best in full sun to part shade.
Some of its other great qualities include deer resistance, fragrant flowers, and being attractive to both hummingbirds and butterflies.
Hardy in zones 4-8.
