Sedum ‘Autumn Joy’
It is hard to go wrong with this sedum.
In mid spring the thick rubbery foliage makes a nice, uniform plant followed by large flower heads that open around the beginning of September.
The blooms stay pink for about 3 weeks them fade to burgundy for awhile before finally turning brown.
They grow best in full sun, but still grow very well with a fair amount of shade. The plants mature to about 24 inches tall and wide.
Hardy in zones 3-9.
