Purple Heart is a versatile perennial. It has does have small pinkish-purple blooms in late summer, but the dark purple foliage is the main attraction.

It grows 10 inches high and 2-2.5 feet wide making it perfect for either ground cover or a border.

Prefers full sun to light shade, and is amazingly drought tolerant for such a juicy plant.
