Geum ‘Double Bloody Mary’
Geum ‘Bloody Mary’ is not a well known perennial, but it offers an absolutely beautiful show of double red flowers from late spring into summer.
The blooms are held on 18-24 inch tall, wiry stems above soft fuzzy foliage.
The leafy base can spread 12-18 inches wide.
It requires well drained soil, particularly during the winter months, and grows in full sun or part shade. The best results will come when planted where it gets afternoon shade.
Dividing it every 2-4 years will help renew the plant, helping it to continue its yearly flower show.
