Canna Lily ‘Red Futurity’
Red Futurity is a beautiful perennial with a tropical look that features crimson flowers set above burgundy and bronze/green foliage from summer into fall. It tends to be a little shorter than some varieties typically 3 feet but can sometimes grow taller, and forms a slow spreading clump. It may be best to give it a layer of mulch in late fall to help protect it during winter. Canna lilies are also deer resistant and can attract hummingbirds. It prefers a location in full sun to part sun and is hardy in zones 7-11.
