Fig ‘Brown Turkey’
Brown Turkey Fig trees are highly productive, producing loads of 1 inch sized brown figs from late summer to frost.
Once established, they grow quite fast to about 8-10 feet tall and wide, and do best in full sun.
Here in east Tennessee, we are on the northern edge of where they will grow well, and after a harsh winter they may die back to the ground and start over.
However the root system is still healthy and they grow back really quickly, but will probably not produce fruit till the next season.
Hardy in zones 7-9.
