Summersweet ‘Sixteen Candles’
This fragrant shrub is a magnet for bees and butterflies. White finger size flowers appear for several weeks in June to July.
Grows up to 4-5 feet tall and 2-3 feet wide. It does best in full sun to part shade but it will tolerate full shade.
Prefers average or moist soil, with the ability to grow in clay!
There are no serious diseases or pests that bother this plant. To maintain a tidier looking shrub, prune out the suckers from the roots.
Hardy in zones 4-9.
