Allium ‘Millennium’ puts on its own fireworks display bursting with pink 2 inch balls of flowers in mid to late summer.
The plants grow 10-20 inches tall and 10 to 14 inches wide. Since it’s an ornamental onion, the leaves have a slight oniony smell when brushed up against.
They are easy to grow and prefer full sun and well drained soil.
A nice bonus to this plant is that deer and rabbits would rather avoid it.
